Youth

Our vision at St Luke’s is for hundreds of youth to come to KNOW Jesus as their Saviour, and to GROW to be like Jesus in all of their life.

Friday

We run three awesome youth programs on Friday nights during term time. All are welcoming, safe and fun places for young people to discover more about Jesus, make great friends, and create unforgettable memories.

Our Youth Groups meet Friday nights during school terms. From 6:30pm-7:30pm we meet for a mini-Bible study, then from 7:30pm-9:30pm we have a Bible Talk, activities & supper. We ask for a donation of $3 for supper.

All children need to complete a registration form at the start of each year, or when they first join one of our groups.

Sunday

During our morning Sunday services, we run JNR Church for Years 6-8.

At JNR Church youth will learn more about Jesus as they listen to a Talk and discuss what they’ve heard in a Bible Study. Around this there are games and morning tea.

Committed to being safe

Ministry to children, youth and the vulnerable is an enormous privilege. These ministries provide great opportunities to talk to people about who Jesus is and why he changes everything, hence they are immensely important to the life of a Church. With these ministries to children, youth and the vulnerable comes significant responsibility, so at St Luke's we are committed to ensuring that we are an environment that is safe for those in our care.

All of our Youth programs come under the oversight of our Youth Minister, Sam Morton, and are lead by trained volunteers who have completed Safe Ministry training and are up to date with the NSW government guidelines in relation to obtaining a Working with Children Check Number.
